Creepy Crawlies
This project was a requested commission series of sculptures on the theme of “bugs”. It is a fascinating undertaking, to study, the many facets of each bug, but then to recreate from photos and recycled materials.
These sculptures were hand forged from scrap stainless steel. Kitchen sinks, pipe and tubing off-cuts, pots, pans and even a bit of old beer keg! Re-purposing materials is a wonderful way to give waste a second life and celebrate our wildlife!
